Boardroom Insiders launches new product features, upgrades and expands its leadership team

FORT MILL, S.C. — Boardroom Insiders — the only business intelligence platform built exclusively to support C-suite sales, marketing and recruiting — announced this week a handful of new features designed to streamline the user experience and make executive engagement easier than ever before. 

The product upgrades, which are now live on the platform, were driven almost entirely by customer demand, said Sharon Gillenwater, co-founder and CEO of Boardroom Insiders. 

“For ABMers, field marketers and sales teams, information is everything, and it has to be accurate, valuable and up to date. Providing that level of insight has always been our strength. Now, we’ve gotten even better, in large part because we talk to our customers and we listen to what they want from our platform,” Gillenwater said. “Our latest enhancements are a direct result of those conversations and part of our commitment to making executive engagement easy and effective.” 

The new product upgrades include: 

User dashboard, featuring real-time updates: Users will encounter a brand new experience when they log on to Boardroom Insiders. The platform’s new dashboard offers a look at all the latest updates to their most important accounts, giving them a window into what’s happening with the executives they care about most. 

Enhanced tracking of Executive Changes: Customers now have the ability to track executive changes easily, across individual profiles or accounts. The new dashboard monitors which Executive Profiles users have viewed and indicates when one of those profiles has been updated. Then, within each profile, a “What’s New?” button at the top of the page highlights those changes throughout. (This feature complements Boardroom Insiders’ regular monthly column, Executives on the Move, which spotlights key executive changes and puts those moves in the context of what’s happening in the industry and the economy as a whole.) 

Notifications/Alerts: The company also upgraded its email notification system, allowing users to set up email alerts for individual executives, as well as for companies. As soon as selected profiles or companies are updated, users receive an email that keeps them in the know in real-time.  

Saved searches: For those users looking to track groups of executives, Boardroom Insiders recently added the ability to save searches on the platform. Now, if a user is interested in CIOs in the finance industry, for example, that user can conduct a search once and save it. Then, when the user logs into Boardroom Insiders, the new dashboard will automatically indicate which Executive Profiles in that search have been updated with new information. 

“Time in Role” search filter: Users can now search the Executive Profiles database based on the amount of time executives have been in their current position: <30 days, <90 days and <180 days. It gives instant insight into the latest executive changes across the companies and leaders that matter to customers and their businesses. 

Streamlined user experience: Boardroom Insiders has also upgraded the user experience across its digital presence, with a revamped website that offers streamlined access to resources that can help our users close bigger deals, faster. 

Customers of both the BI SIGNATURE and BI PRO platforms will have access to these upgrades beginning immediately.  

In addition to the new upgrades, Boardroom Insiders has also expanded its executive leadership team, with Marcus Hermens joining as vice president of marketing.
